French, German inspectors to fly Open Skies mission over Russia, Belarus

MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax-AVN) - A team of French and German inspectors will fly an Open Skies mission over Russia and Belarus between October 7 and 11, said chief of Russia's National Nuclear Threat Reduction Center Sergei Ryzhkov.

"The Open Skies mission will be flown aboard a C-130H plane which belongs to a class of aircraft not intended for carrying weapons. The equipment installed aboard has been internationally certified with the participation of Russian inspectors," Ryzhkov told the press on Monday.
