More of Snowden's relatives wishing to come to Russia - lawyer Kucherena
MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Not only the father of former NSA employee Edward Snowden but also his other relatives have expressed the desire to come to Russia to meet with him, lawyer Anatoly Kucherena has said.
"As concerns the arrival of other relatives, it is true that they have such a desire, but a decision on this issue will be made in the near future," Kucherena told journalists on Tuesday at a Moscow airport, where he was meeting Edward Snowden's father, Lon Snowden.
"Regarding the safety of Lon Snowden's trips, I will certainly be trying to do all I can so that he feels comfortable, or at least provide all the necessary conditions for this," Kucherena said.
