Date of Soyuz-2.1v light rocket's inaugural launch set

MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax-AVN) - The first test launch of the Soyuz-2.1v rocket is due to occur on December 24, CSKB-Progress General Director Alexander Kirillin told Interfax-AVN on Thursday.

"We are included on the schedule for December 24," he said.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1v light vehicle has been delayed because of an accident during the testing of the rocket's engine.
