Alexander Ivanov expected to be appointed Roscosmos deputy head
MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Alexander Ivanov might be appointed deputy of newly appointed Roscosmos head Oleg Ostapenko in the short term, a source familiar with the matter told Interfax-AVN.
"Alexander Ivanov, whom new Roscosmos head has known for a long time and worked with at the Plesetsk cosmodrome and in the Defense Ministry, is expected to replace Roscosmos Deputy Head Alexander Lopatin," the source said.
According to unofficial information, Lopatin filed for resignation of his own volition several days ago, the source said.
