Dutch ambassador informs Russian Foreign Ministry of diplomat detention inquiry

MOSCOW. Oct 11 (Interfax) - Dutch Ambassador to Moscow Ron van Dartel is currently providing the Russian Foreign Ministry with the latest updates about the inquiry into the detention of Russian Minister Counselor in The Hague Dmitry Borodin.

As was promised on Wednesday, the latest information concerning the inquiry into the situation with the Russian diplomat will be presented to the Russian side today, Dutch Foreign Ministry spokesman Thijs van Son told Interfax over the phone on Friday.

The ministry spokesman, however, said he did not know what steps might subsequently be taken.
