Lukashenko: "potash case" must not harm Belarus-Russia relations
MINSK. Oct 11 (Interfax) - The "potash case" must not harm the Belarusian-Russian partnership, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told Russian reporters in Minsk on Friday.
"We are not closing this case, however we do not want to create a phantom that will harm our relations either. I told Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin] when we met that not a single "gertner" [Baumgertner] or Kerimov were worth ruining interstate relations and our personal relationship. He [Putin] replied that he 100% agreed. They are not worth it," Lukashenko said.
