Investigative Committee makes every effort to track and detain Shcherbakov's murderer - Markin

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Investigators are taking every step to track and detain the murderer of Yegor Shcherbakov, whose death sparked off rioting in Moscow's Western Biryulyovo district.

"The investigation has a video image of the suspected criminal, and large-scale search efforts are being conducted using this image," official spokesman for the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin has said.

"Thus the investigation is applying all the powers given to it by law to speedily solve this crime and to detain the suspect," Markin said.
