Interfax Information Services Group has created the post of Executive Director for its Internet Projects Service, in light of its internet business expansion, and appointed Roman Badanin to the post. Badanin has held management posts with the online publications Gazeta.ru and Forbes Online since the early 2000s.

Badanin will manage online news projects and help develop a strategy for the group in this segment.
