Kazakhstan reduces oil and gas condensate exports 1.1% in 8M
ALMATY. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan exported 46.185 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in January-August 2013, a year-on-year decrease of 1.1%, reported the State Agency for Statistics.
The exports declined 4.8% in value to $37.293 billion.
Exports of petroleum product increased 21.2% year-on-year to 3.553 million tonnes or $2.132 billion in value (up 15.7%). Imports grew 12% to 1.476 million tonnes or $934.1 million in value (down 0.4%).
Imports of natural gas increased 8.5% to 3.819 billion cubic meters or $379.2 million in value (up 8.3%), exports fell 3.2% to 13.724 billion cubic meters or $1.379 billion in value (down 9.1%).
In January-August 2013 Kazakhstan produced 45.869 million tonnes of crude oil (up 4.8% year-on-year), 8.082 million tonnes of gas condensate (down 5.4%) and 27.722 billion cubic meters of natural gas (up 3.3%).
