One man detained at rally in support of environmentalists in Moscow
MOSCOW. Oct 18 (Interfax) - The police have detained a man dressed as a white bear at a rally held in support of the detained Greenpeace activists in the Moscow Hyde Park, eyewitnesses said.
The rally was entitled "Free activists, save the Arctic." The rally participants were holding banners saying "The Arctic needs environmentalists, not eco-terrorists."
The police said the man who was dressed as a white bear could provoke conflicts and detained him.
