Orhan Zeynalov charged with murdering Yegor Shcherbakov - Russian Investigative Committee
MOSCOW. Oct 18 (Interfax) - Investigators have charged Azerbaijani national Orhan Zeynalov with murdering resident of Moscow's Biryulyovo district Yegor Shcherbakov, spokesman of the Russian Investigative Committee's main directorate for Moscow, Sergei Stukalov, said.
"Zeynalov was charged today under the Russian Criminal Code Article 105, murder," Stukalov told Interfax on Friday.
Orhan Zeynalov was detained in Kolomna, outside of Moscow on October 15. On October 17, Moscow's Presnensky Court placed him under arrest until December 10.
The so-called people's gathering was organized in Biryulyovo on October 13 demanding to find the murderer of Yegor Shcherbakov. It ended up with unrest near the Biryuza shopping center and local vegetable warehouse resulting in rioting and clashes with police.
