Criminal case opened into priest's murder in Krasnodar territory
KRASNODAR. Oct 19 (Interfax) - The Investigative Committee department for the Krasnodar territory has opened a criminal case into murder after a priest's body was found in his car's trunk in the Belorechensk district, the department said.
The criminal case has been opened on charges of murder (Russian Criminal Code Article 105, Part 1), unlawful seizure of a car or another vehicle without the intent to steal it (Article 166, Part 1), and deliberate destruction of property through arson (Article 167, Part 2).
The investigation has obtained some information indicating that the crime might have been committed by a local resident, who had earlier had a domestic dispute with the priest, it said.
