Moscow police detain Georgian teenager for stabbing schoolgirl
MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - A Georgian teenager has been detained in eastern Moscow for stabbing a schoolgirl with a knife, a source from law enforcement authorities told Interfax.
He said the crime was committed on Pervaya Pryadilnaya Street in the Izmailovo neighborhood on Friday night. The teenager stabbed the 13-year-old school student in the stomach and the chest.
The 15-year-old teenager, who came to Moscow from Georgia, was apprehended on Nikitskaya Street on Tuesday. A criminal case was opened under Article 111 of the Russian Criminal Code (premeditated severe physical damage).
The city police press service confirmed the crime to Interfax but declined to go into further detail.
