Murmansk court upheld arrest of all participants of protest in Pechora Sea
MURMANSK. Oct 24 (Interfax) - The Murmansk regional court rejected on Thursday the appeals filed by the defense of Arctic Sunrise crew member Ana Paula, Brazilian national, and sea cook Ruslan Yakushev, Ukrainian citizen.
The ruling of the first instance court, which placed Paula and Yakushev under arrest has remained unchanged, the court told Interfax. The two will remain in a Murmansk detention facility until November 24.
The Murmansk regional court rejected earlier on Thursday the appeal of Greenpeace's Arctic Sunrise ship mate Paul Ruzycki of Canada. Thus, the court has upheld all the rulings to arrest all 30 participants of the Greenpeace rally in the Pechora Sea.
