EEC backs Armenia, Kyrgyzstan aspiration to join the integration project

MINSK. Oct 24 (Interfax) - A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of presidents has supported the aspiration of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to join the integration project, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We supported the intention of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to join our integration project," Putin told a news conference in the wake of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Minsk on Thursday.

The parties agreed to create a working group that was tasked to prepare a relevant roadmap as soon as possible, he said.
