Yanukovych proposes to hold next meeting of CIS Council of Heads of State in Kyiv in October 2014

MINSK. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has proposed to hold the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Kyiv in October 2014, timing it to the 70th anniversary of Ukraine's liberation from German fascist aggressors.

This date will be broadly celebrated in Ukraine, where an organizational committee has already been created and a plan of events has already been approved to increase the social security of war veterans, Yanukovych said at the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Minsk.
