RusHydro EBITDA up 26% at 14.5 bln rubles in Q3
MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - OJSC RusHydro , which operates the majority of Russia's hydroelectric power plants, reports earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of 14.5 billion rubles for the third quarter of this year, a 26% year-on-year increase from 11.5 billion rubles billion rubles a year prior, a company press release says.
The company's EBITDA margin increased 6.5 percentage points to 54.1% in Q3.
Adjusted net profits were up 36% at 8.9 billion rubles from 6.6 billion rubles in Q3 last year. Sales revenues rose 11% to 26.8 billion rubles from 24.1 billion rubles. Cost of sales was down 1% at 15.3 billion rubles from 15.4 billion rubles.
Gross profits increased 32% from 8.8 billion rubles last Q3 to 11.6 billion rubles last quarter.
