It's incorrect to say that the state is exercising pressure on Posbalt - Peskov
NOVO-OGARYOVO. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has refrained from commenting on the Moscow City Court ruling on the information agency Rosbalt, saying, however, that pressure should be exerted on media organizations that violate the law.
"As to the decision about Rosbalt, it was made by the court and I have no right to comment on a court ruling," Russian presidential press office Dmitry Peskov told reporters responding to a question from Interfax.
Peskov reiterated that "it's incorrect to say that the state is exerting any pressure."
"Honestly, I should think that the state should put pressure on media organizations that violate the law, use foul language, or promote something that cannot be promoted by law," Peskov said.
