Two under investigation in Kazakhstan over terror activity in Syria
ASTANA. Nov 1 (Interfax) - A criminal inquiry has been opened against two Kazakh citizens accused of involvement in terrorist activities in Syria, a spokesman for Kazakhstan's National Security Committee told Interfax.
"We announce that a criminal case has been opened by national security services against these persons on the counts of terrorism in accordance with the [Kazakh] Penal Code," the spokesman said, declining to provide further details.
