Russian officials plan to meet with Syrian opposition members on sidelines of Nov 5 event in Geneva

MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Russia's delegation plans to meet with members of the Syrian opposition on the sidelines of a Russia-U.S.-UN meeting in Geneva on November 5.

"We plan to hold a whole series of negotiations with representatives of the Syrian opposition on the sidelines of our consultations in Geneva. Such an agreement has already been achieved. Such contacts will take place," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told Interfax on Friday.
