Russian deputy foreign minister, German ambassador discuss Geneva II arrangements
MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov met with German Ambassador in Moscow Ulrich Brandenburg on Friday.
"The discussion of pressing Middle East issues focused on the Syrian developments in the context of the task of convocation of the Geneva II international conference, which aims to launch the political settlement of the Syrian crisis," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
It noted that the meeting was held by Brandenburg's request.
