Lavrov, Hague discuss Syria

MOSCOW. Nov 4 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has had a telephone conversation with British Foreign Secretary William Hague.

Lavrov and Hague discussed Syrian affairs, including the efforts to prepare the Geneva II international peace conference for Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

They also conferred on other topical international and bilateral issues, says a report posted on the ministry website.

The telephone conversation was initiated by the British side, the ministry said.
