Russia's natural gas production up 2.6% in Jan-Oct 2013 vs Jan-Oct 2012 - report
MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - The volume of natural gas production in Russia grew by 2.6% to 545.243 billion cubic meters (bcm) in January-October 2013 compared to the same period in 2012, the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK) reported in its bulletin.
Russia produced 62.7 bcm of gas in October alone.
Gazprom's gas production in January-October amounted to 387.997 bcm. In September alone, Gazprom produced 46.159 bcm of gas.
Novatek, a leading independent gas producer, produced 43.819 bcm of gas in January-October and 4.592 bcm in October alone. The other oil and gas producing companies produced 30.062 bcm of gas in January-October and 3.053 bcm in October, and the PSA operators 22.336 bcm (2.163 bcm).
As concerns the vertically integrated oil companies, Rosneft produced 16.735 bcm of gas in January-October (2.739 bcm in October), Lukoil 15.047 bcm (1.579 bcm), Surgutneftegas 10.084 bcm (0.985 bcm), and Gazprom Neft 9.272 bcm (1.041 bcm).
