Country where Syrian chemical arms may be taken still unknown - diplomat
MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - Parameters of Russia's participation in the scrapping of Syrian chemical weapons and the country where the weapons may be taken are unknown as of yet, Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad said.
"Russia will be involved [in the elimination of Syrian chemical weapons] but it is still unclear how and to what extent," he said.
As to the country where Syrian chemical weapons might be taken, the diplomat said, "It is not known either."
Asked when the international public may receive this information, Haddad said the negotiations continued and the scrapping of chemical weapons would be in progress until next year.
