UN, Russia, U.S. fail to agree Geneva II date - Brahimi

GENEVA. Nov 5 (Interfax) - UN, Russian and U.S. negotiators who met on Tuesday were unable to agree the date for the planned Geneva II international conference on Syria, said UN and Arab League envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi.

However, the United Nations, Russia and the United States are still making efforts to have the forum held before the year end, Brahimi told a news conference in Geneva.
