Explosion rips through Makhachkala store - Interior Ministry

MAKHACHKALA. Nov 8 (Interfax) - An explosive device was detonated at a grocery store in the center of Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan in Russia's North Caucasus, a Dagestan Interior Ministry spokesman told Interfax.

Reports concerning possible injuries and damage are being verified.

Two people were killed and another 15 were injured when two bombs went off near two liquor stores, located at an intersection of Makhachkala's Korkmasov and Dakhadayev Streets, on October 30.
