Russia gives $3.5 mln to Kyrgyzstan under UN program

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree allocating budget money for the development of the Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan.

The budget of the UN Development Program will receive from Russia $3.5 million for the implementation of the comprehensive development of the Naryn region, the decree posted on the Russian government legal act database reads.

Russia will give the first part of the $2 million to Kyrgyzstan in 2013 and will transfer another $1.5 million in 2014.
