EuroChem's earnings to IFRS plummet 61.5% to 3 bln rubles in Q3
MOSCOW. Nov 13 (Interfax) - EuroChem's net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) plummeted 61.5% year-on-year in Q3 2013 to 3 billion rubles, the fertilizer producer said in a statement.
Revenue fell 13% year-on-year to 41 billion rubles, and earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) decreased by 26% to 8.7 billion rubles.
Net profit fell 58.3% to 9.6 billion rubles in January-September, earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 13% to 3.7 billion rubles and revenue grew, by 7% to 133.1 billion rubles.
Q3 fertilizer sales volumes reached 2.358 million tonnes, including 1.793 million tonnes and 565,000 tonnes from the Nitrogen and Phosphates segments, respectively. Iron ore and baddeleyite sales volumes jumped 39% to 1.57 million tonnes, compared to 1.132 million tonnes in Q3 2012.
Capex in potash projects came to 10 billion rubles in the 9M.
