Kyrgyzstan officially notifies U.S. on Manas Transit Center closure by July 11, 2014

BISHKEK. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry has presented a note to the U.S. ambassador to notify the U.S. of its obligation to close the Manas Transit Center by July 2014.

"Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldayev met with U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Pamela Spratlen on Thursday, at which a note was presented to the U.S. side to officially notify it that the agreement with the U.S. regarding the Manas Transit Center will expire on July 11 next year," the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry told Interfax.
