No procedural decision has yet been made on Serdyukov - source

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - The role of former defense minister Anatoly Serdyukov in the abuse in the Defense Ministry associated with the illegal alienation of the ministry's property has not been determined yet and the investigation into this now continues, a high ranking source in the law enforcement agencies told Interfax on Friday.

"The role of the former defense minister in the criminal cases opened on the basis of abuse by former Russian Defense Ministry officials is now being studied. No procedural decisions, including the decision not to open a criminal case, have been made yet," the source said.

According to earlier reports, Serdyukov was appointed head of the Federal Machine-Building Research and Testing Center on November 1.
