Rosneft, Evraz, Moboil leading suppliers to RZD
MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Rosneft , Evraz, PKP Moboil LLC and OJSC BET were the leading suppliers to Russian Railways (RZD) in the first nine months of the year, RZD said in its earnings report.
RZD purchased goods and services totaling nearly 175 billion rubles in the period.
BET, an RZD subsidiary that manufactures railroad ties, regularly accounts for over 10% of RZD's purchases. Oil product supplier Moboil was not previously listed among RZD's top suppliers, but accounted for 11% of its purchases in the nine months. Rosneft accounted for 14% and Evraz - 10%.
Moboil, which has been operating on the oil product market since 2000, belongs to Valery Markelov and Sergei Medvedev, according to the SPARK-Interfax database. It posted a net profit of 67.4 million rubles in 2012 on revenue of 29.6 billion rubles. RZD is its main customer.
