Opposition activists detained in Moscow
MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - Six opposition activists were detained in Moscow on Sunday following a rally "in defense of political prisoners," according to the OVD-info human rights website.
The Moscow police have confirmed the detentions of five citizens in central Moscow.
"Five citizens have been detained for an attempted breach of the peace. They are likely to be sanctioned on charges of committing administrative offences," a police spokesman said.
