Public security concept approved in Russia
MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the concept of public security in Russia.
The concept "is a system of views on ensuring public security as a part of Russia's national security," the document posted on the presidential website reads.
The concept defines threats to public security in Russia, goals, tasks, principles and main areas of activity of state agencies, as well as local governments and others agencies and organizations that are involved in ensuring public security on the basis of Russian laws.
The concept was developed in line with Russia's National Security Strategy 2020 and the Strategy of Socioeconomic Development 2020.
