Russia, Kazakhstan may build new railway in Kyrgyzstan

CHISINAU. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Russia and Kazakhstan may work together to build new railway in Kyrgyzstan, OJSC Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin said Wednesday in Moldova.

"During a meeting of SCO member countries, Kyrgyzstan raised the issue of developing its transport network and it was decided that such work would be taken on," Yakunin told the press.

"We are working with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakshtan to set up a project for the construction of new railway in Kyrgyzstan," he said.
