Russian gold production rises 14.3% in 10M - Rosstat

MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Russia raised gold production in ingot form 14.3% year-on-year in January-October 2013, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said, without specifying how much of the metal was actually produced.

Gold production rose 6.2% year-on-year in October and was down 8.7% compared with September 2013.

The Russian Gold Producers Union has said gold production came to 186.358 tonnes in January-October last year.

The Union has also said gold production rose 12.5% year-on-year in January-September this year to 181.088 tonnes in ingot form. Rosstat has said gold production grew 15.6% in the same period of last year.
