Baumgertner's speedy extradition is desirable - Kremlin aide
MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - The Kremlin believes it would be desirable if Uralkali CEO Vladislav Baumgertner is extradited from Belarus to Russia by the end of November.
"I don't know specific dates. What I know is that it's been announced" that Baumgertner may be turned over in the near future, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told journalists on Thursday.
Asked whether the extradition could be arranged by the end of November, Ushakov replied, "Perhaps this would be desirable."
Ushakov refrained from commenting on the possibility that Mikhail Prokhorov's Onexim Group could buy a 21.75% stake in Uralkali from the Suleyman Kerimov Foundation. "I would not like to comment on this," Ushakov told journalists.
