RusHydro may pay dividends based on adjusted IFRS net profit - Dod
MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - RusHydro may pay dividends based on the company's adjusted IFRS net profit.
"I believe that 25% of the adjusted IFRS net profit must be paid," Dod said, adding that he was expressing his personal opinion.
In fact, RusHydro will pay dividends in line with the state's decision, he said.
The government is currently considering having companies with state participation pay dividends based on IFRS earnings. They currently pay dividends calculated under Russian accounting standards (RAS).
RusHydro's adjusted net profit under IFRS differs substantially from the unadjusted figure: adjusted profit in the first half of the year was 23 billion rubles compared with the unadjusted profit of 10.8 billion rubles.
