Armenia ups ferromolybdenum output 16% in 10M

YEREVAN. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Armenia raised ferromolybdenum output 16% year-on-year in January-October to 5,541 tonnes, the National Statistics Service said.

Molybdenum concentrate production grew 10.8% to 9,668 tonnes, converter copper production grew 10.1% to 9,025 tonnes and copper concentrate grew 19.4% to 153,321 tonnes, while zinc concentrate fell 3.9% to 13,392 tonnes.

The Rusal-Armenal foil mill produced 22,912 tonnes of aluminum foil, up 5% year-on-year, and 17.8 tonnes of other aluminum goods, up 1.1%.

Armenia exports all of its metals, mostly to Europe and the United States.
