Ukrainian deputy PM, EU diplomat discuss steps to continue Euro-integration process
KYIV. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov and Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski have discussed preparations for signing an association agreement between Ukraine and the EU at a meeting in Kyiv.
"Ukraine declared the immutable nature of the country's course toward European integration on the whole and association with the European Union in particular," Arbuzov's press service reported.
"Agreements were reached during the negotiating process aimed at the soonest possible drafting of a timeline of the initialed association agreement's implementation and the coordination of a number of aspects for its implementation, or, in other words, its so-called road map," it said.
Arbuzov and Tombinski also expressed mutual hopes for rebuilding confidence through a policy of specific steps aimed at reaching the common goal of building a democratic, stable and European Ukraine, it said.
