There is no alternative to dialogue in Ukraine's democratic development - OSCE PA president
KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Peaceful protests and rallies are a tool used for expressing public opinion, and they initially laid the foundation of democracy in Ukraine, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Ranko Krivokapic said at the meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers held in Kyiv on Thursday.
The process of democratic development is often painful, he said, adding that there is no alternative to dialogue between political groups, people and the government through democratically elected institutions in this process.
Krivokapic also said he is convinced that Ukraine will overcome this period and that will ensure a stronger, more stable democracy.
