Kanokov comments on his resignation as head of Kabardino-Balkaria
MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax) - Arsen Kanokov, former head of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, said he has decided to leave his post because he believes there is a need for healthy staff rotation.
"It was a totally conscious decision. I have headed the republic for nine years and I am convinced that there is a need for healthy staff rotation," Kanokov told Interfax on Friday.
"Naturally, I will continue helping the republic and working for the good of Russia," he said.
