Nobody hurt in helicopter crash landing in Krasnoyarsk territory
KRASNOYARSK. Dec 9 (Interfax) - A private AS-350 helicopter made an emergency landing in the town of Uzur, Krasnoyarsk territory, the press service of the department of the Emergency Situations' Ministry in the territory reports.
The incident occurred at 12:08 p.m. local time. Nobody was hurt.
Spokesperson for the department Tatyana Dorogova told Interfax that the incident took place on the grounds of the central hospital in Uzhur.
"At 12:07 p.m. local time eyewitnesses reported the emergency landing of a private helicopter on the helicopter pad of the central hospital in Uzhur that had arrived from Krasnoyarsk. The pilot was alone in the helicopter, he was not harmed," Dorogova said.
She said the helicopter is lying on the side, its tail and blades are damaged. There was no fire.
Meanwhile, the press service of the Siberian center of the Emergency Situations' Ministry says there were three people aboard - the pilot and two doctors.
The office of the West Siberian transport prosecutor has the same information.
Senior aide to the prosecutor Oksana Gorbunova told Interfax that the helicopter with three people aboard made a crash landing on the runway of the Uzhur hospital and fell to its side. She said that the Yenisei transport prosecutor's office has launched an investigation.
The causes of the crash landing are being studied.
