Gazprom board to discuss new investment program Dec 17
MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - The board of directors at Gazprom will meet on December 17 to discuss preliminary results for 2013 and the draft investment program, budget and cost-cutting plan for 2014 and the period to 2016, the Russian gas giant said in a statement.
A source familiar with Gazprom's plans has told Interfax that the 2014 investment program would call for financing expenditure of 779 billion rubles and implementation of 806 billion rubles investment.
A year ago, implementation of 957 billion rubles and financing of 1.034 billion rubles was being mooted for 2014 when the three year plans were being discussed.
Gazprom's 2013 investment program initially called for expenditures on financing in the amount of 841 billion rubles and implementation of investment of 705 billion rubles. Gazprom usually reviews its investment program after half a year is up and this year's program was raised to 1.026 trillion rubles by implementation.
