CORRECTED: Alexander Nesis ups Polymetal stake to 18.49%

MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Alexander Nesis., core owner of the ICT Group, has increased his stake in Russian silver and gold miner Polymetal International from 17.59% to 18.49%.

Polymetal said in a statement that Powerboom Investments Limited, which is wholly owned by Quotan International Ltd., a firm controlled by Nesis, acquired the additional shares.

The PPF Group owns 20.50% of Polymetal , Alexander Mamut - 9.5% and management and employees - 0.91%. The free float is 50.16%.
