Surprise inspections will continue in Russian Armed Forces - President Putin
MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has reiterated the need to continue surprise inspections intended to assess the combat readiness of the country's Armed Forces units.
"Such inspections should be carried out in all the branches of the Armed Forces and in all military districts. The result of their combat training should be the Vostok (East)-2014 strategic exercises, which should tackle the issues of military security in the east of Russia," Putin said at an expanded session of the Russian Defense Ministry's board on Tuesday.
