Putin discusses drafting of his address to parliament with Russian Security Council

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin met with Russian Security Council members on Wednesday, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Topical domestic and global affairs were on the agenda," he said.

"The meeting participants had a detailed discussion of various conceptual aspects of the elaboration of the president's address to the Federal Assembly, which would be presented on Thursday, December 12," he said.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Presidential Administration Head Sergei Ivanov, State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service Head Mikhail Fradkov and Russian Security Council permanent member Boris Gryzlov attended the meeting.
