Rogozin: Russia, Kazakhstan solve issue of Proton launches from Baikonur
MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia and Kazakhstan have reached understanding in solving the issue of Proton launches from the Baikonur Space Center, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.
"In fact, we have reached understanding with regard to resuming Proton launches from the Baikonur Space Center with the amicable support of our Kazakh friends," Rogozin told reporters.
He said the issue was discussed at a Russian-Kazakh meeting in Astana on Tuesday.
