Cherkizovo capex to climb to 7.5 bln rubles in 2014
MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - One of the leading meat and meat product manufacturers in Russia, Cherkizovo, plans capital expenditure of 7.5 billion rubles in 2014, against the 5 billion to 5.2 billion projected for 2013, Financial Director Ludmilla Mikhailova told analysts in Moscow Wednesday.
A large share of this money - 5 billion rubles - will go to the poultry division, including 3.7 billion rubles on new projects, she said.
Cherkizovo plans to spend 1 billion rubles on pig farming. Investment in meat processing is estimated at 700 million - 730 million rubles. This will be spent mainly on supporting production and implementation of a "small new project," Mikhailova said.
Investment in grain production will reach around 350 million rubles, including 150 million on expanding land resources.
