BRUSSELS. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov has said that Kyiv has the political will to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union, and it will do so "in the near future."

"We have the political will to sign the Association Agreement. We have discussed when we will do so. We will sign it in the near future as soon as all the required work is accomplished," Arbuzov said in Brussels on Thursday, when answering a question from Interfax.

EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, for his part, said that these discussions concerning the signing and implementation of the Association Agreement should be a part of a political process aimed at settling the political crisis in Ukraine.
