Medvedev regrets slowdown in implementing major integration projects with Belarus

MOSCOW. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev regrets a slowdown in the implementation of major Russian-Belarusian integration projects in energy, car-making, and other industries.

"I'd like to remind you that we had great expectations for implementing major integration projects in the energy, automobile, electronic, information and other sectors. We have repeatedly addressed them, and we have discussed them now as well. We've acknowledged that, unfortunately, progress in a lot of them is not very speedy," Medvedev said at a session of the Belarus-Russia Union's Council of Ministers on Friday.

However, "we still might see positive results in certain areas," Medvedev said. "I hope this will happen in the very near future," he said.
